Frequently asked questions
How does JSON comparison handle object key order and arrays?
Object key order is ignored. The default compares arrays by position. Choose Match one array by identity to open both original files in the existing editor, then review moves, additions, removals and field changes before one undoable Apply or a separate patch/copy download.
What are the comparison limits?
The default accepts up to 10 MB per document and shows up to 5,000 differences. Identity mode accepts UTF-8 JSON up to 1 MiB per document and 1,000 selected-array items. It requires an explicit array path and unique scalar identity pointer, rejects missing/duplicate keys and runs locally with Cancel and a five-second time limit.
Does my JSON file get uploaded?
Local editing processes selected and pasted contents in your browser. Optional Assistance sends your goal and only the context you explicitly prepare and include, such as a selected subtree or observed query field metadata, to OpenRouter and the configured model provider. Its preview shows exactly what is included. Ordinary page and asset requests also reach the hosting provider.
